Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Jack. It seems the photographer was far closer than I initially expected, as he was shooting with a 24mm lens. This proximity might have influenced how the bullet’s path was captured in the image. However, it’s important to clarify that a bullet wouldn’t be deflected by simply grazing an ear—soft tissue like that wouldn’t cause any meaningful change in direction. A deflection would be more plausible if the bullet hit something harder, like bone or a bulletproof vest.
