Thanks for the thoughtful questions, Éva. It does seem that the photographer was far closer than I initially expected, as he was shooting with a 24mm lens. This proximity might have influenced the angle at which the bullet was captured in the photo. You’re absolutely right that the bullet should have been coming in at a downward angle if it was shot from a rooftop. The fact that it appears parallel to the stage in the image is puzzling. However, it’s important to note that a bullet wouldn’t change direction just by grazing an ear—soft tissue wouldn’t cause any meaningful deflection. A change in trajectory would be more likely if the bullet hit something harder, like bone or a bulletproof vest. These are definitely legit questions and add another layer to this intriguing situation.
